For a full Amazon Prime monthly membership, you would pay $10.99, so the savings are evident. If you are only interested in video, and no additional advantages, you could use your Amazon Fire TV with other services such as Emby or Plex. You could also install Kodi to Amazon Fire TV without adb and computer, and enjoy the content of your choice.
